The amount of time for your waxing appointment will depend on the area(s) you are treating. Smaller areas can take as little as 15 minutes. The most in depth and larger areas can take up to an hour.
It is very important to take good care of your skin after a waxing appointment. This includes: applying a cold compress to relieve any pain and avoid irritation, ensure the area waxed is clean and free from dirt, avoid excessive heat exposure and tanning, keep the area away from friction for the next 48 hours, avoid hot baths or massage and do not take steam baths. Don’t scratch or touch the area with dirty hands, wear clean, loose clothes that do not cause too much friction, no swimming in chlorinated swimming pools and avoid deodorants or other skincare products like lotions and powders in the waxed area.
Waxing can last anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks. This is dependent upon your natural hair growth cycle and if you are taking any supplements to increase hair growth or getting any procedures done to decrease it such as a laser.

But, in three to six weeks, depending on how fast your hair cycle is, the follicle heals itself, and new hair starts to grow. Of note, regular waxing technically causes damage to hair follicles and also weakens the hair. Because of this, many people experience minimal regrowth after this hair removal process. Although in most cases, the hair follicle heals by itself, and new hair starts to grow. If you continue with regular waxing, then over time you will eventually experience slower regrowth, as well as potentially thinner and finer regrowth.

It is recommended to not tweeze between appointments. By tweezing, you interrupt the growth cycle of some hairs and not all, making it harder to effectively remove all unwanted hair at your next threading appointment.
