Botox®
Botulinum toxin, often referred to as Botox®, is an injectable medication that relaxes target muscles.
Botox relaxes the muscles that create wrinkles by temporarily interrupting the neural signal sent to that muscle.
There is a mild discomfort during the injection. We utilize insulin needles, which are very small, to help minimize discomfort...but it is still an injection. Some clients experience a headache following their first forehead injection of Botox, which is totally normal and can be relieved by tylenol or ibuprofen.
Redness, bruising or pain at the injection site may occur. Dizziness or headache may occur as well. Relaxation of unintended muscles may occur, and is temporary.
Typical treatment areas include: forehead, between eyebrows, eyebrow lift, crow's feet (around eyes), bunny lines (bridge of nose), lip flip, chin, platysma bands (neck) and masseters (outer jaw, helps with headaches and TMJ/teeth grinding pain). You can also use Botox in the armpits and anywhere else you have excessive sweating to decrease or eliminate sweat for up to 4 months.
You will start to see effects in 3-5 days, full effect will take up to 2 weeks.
results will last typically 3-4 months. If lip flip was performed it may only last up to 2-3 months due to the frequent use of the muscle injected.

Dermal Filler
Dermal fillers are a hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar found in the body.
The injectable hyaluronic acid adds immediate volume and due to its water binding capacity it also hydrates and plumps the treatment area over time. Eventually the body will naturally dissolve the filler and excrete it.
Injections are not completely pain free, but in our studio, we offer a full dental block using injectable lidocaine and sodium bicarbonate when doing lip fillers, and we use injectable lidocaine for any other facial areas treated. Topical anesthetic is also available upon request.
Potential side effects include pain, swelling, redness rash or bruising at the injection site. If you have a history of cold sores on the mouth (oral herpes) lip filler injections can trigger an outbreak and you may be prescribed an antiviral preventatively by our Medical Director Tracee Dahlke, FNP. Rarely vascular occlusion is possible.
Most filler sessions are 45-60 minutes, depending on the area(s) being treated.
Lips, chin, jawline, cheeks, nasolabial folds (smile lines or jowls)
Immediately!! That is the best part, we get to see your results right away.
Typically, filler will last 6-9 months before it begins to dissolve naturally.

B12/Lipo B Injections
B12 is an injectable vitamin that is necessary for multiple body functions. Lipo-B is an injectable that contains B12 as well as multiple lipotropic (fat burning) amino acids including choline, methionine, inositol, carnitine, thiamine and niacinamide.
B12 works by increasing your levels of vitamin B12 so that you can make more red blood cells to transport oxygen around your body. The lipotropic amino acids in Lipo-B work by stimulating liver function and telling the body to burn fat for fuel, thereby decreasing cholesterol and burning more fat.
It is a quick injection into the deltoid muscle in the upper arm, very similar to a flu shot.
B12/Lipo-B injection side effects can include pain/swelling/itching at the injection site, diarrhea, headache or hot flashes.
Less than 15 minutes including initial consultation.
B12 helps boost energy, the immune system and metabolism. It also improves sleep. The Lipo-B injections also help burn fat, decrease cholesterol and preserve lean body mass when combined with healthy diet and exercise.
Typically, you will start to see some of the positive effects within 24-72 hours. As for visible results from the Lipo-B injections, some people will see results in a few weeks, but most notably within a month; particularly when combined with a healthy diet and exercise.
B12/Lipo-B injection benefits last up to a week, therefore weekly injections are recommended.
